Because my opinions are better than yours

First off, I apologize for the title of this blog post, and feel free to punch me in the face the next time you see me just for using it.  Why didn’t I just change it?  Well, because it was the first thing I thought of, I’m lazy and no one reads this anyway, so I can do things like offer free punches in the face as compensation for my lameness without any fear of actually getting punched…ever.

Moving on, unless you were one of the four people who didn’t watch last night’s new episode of Jersey Shore, then you most probably saw the trailer MTV conveniently aired on the first commercial break (the first of about 50 commercials during the hour-long show, I should add) for Jackass 3D, the new installment of the Jackass series due out on October 15th.  I was as big a fan as anyone when the show was on MTV regularly, but I felt like the movies were able to take it to even another level; this newest installment, much of which was filmed in 3D,  looks like no exception.  Or maybe I just like the boobies and cursing that isn’t bleeped out in movies.  Anyway, just trust me and watch this trailer through to the end, and I promise you that you’ll laugh out loud at least once by the time it’s over:

P.S. How can someone not laugh at the “high five” part at the end??!! I’ve watched it like 5 times now and still laugh each time I see it.

Apparently, I shouldn’t be the only one who literally can’t wait until this shit comes out:

Producer Scram Jones, who was D.J.-ing at CV last week when Kanye came in with his crew, including Kid Cudi, has some new insight: “There’s a table right by the DJ booth, so they posted up right in front of the booth,” Jones told MTV. “He had a CD, and we put it in. Kanye leaned over and said, ‘Play track three.’ They all went nuts, Kid Cudi was dancing on the table, and then we cut it off at about a minute-and-a-half. We went to another record, and that got everybody excited, and Kanye said, ‘Play number seven.’ That’s how it kept happening.”

The Situation Being the Coolest Person Ever

I don’t know if it’s humanly possible, but this video might even be better than the show itself:

Obviously, I’m kidding…nothing is better than the show itself.  Well, maybe like “Citizen Kane” or something like that, but you’d have to put up pretty much a perfect argument on Kane’s behalf because this stuff is pure poetry.

If you agree, I’d also recommend FUCK YEAH, JERSEY SHORE and then proceed to say goodbye to a solid hour of your life.

Finally, because it never gets old, here’s Snickers getting punched in the face one more time:

The new single, “Love Lockdown,” is set to hit iTunes “any minute now,” and rumor has it that this announcement conveniently coinciding with Kanye’s performance to close the VMA’s on Sunday is no accident and that we’ll probably hear it for the first time that night.  Yes, I am gay for Kanye; I don’t care.

UPDATE [9/10]: As so boldly predicted by Blogbdon, Ye’ closed out the VMA’s on Sunday evening with “Love Lockdown,” the first single off of his upcoming album and a song he has since called his “favorite song 2 date.”  More importantly, the aforementioned new Kanye album, entitled “808′s & Heartbreak,” is set to drop on December 16th.  Here is a video of the dope-ass performance (that I can’t get to center on the page for some reason):

Speaking of being gay for Kanye, he released yet another single off of “Graduation” and, thus, another insane video to go alone with it.  This song (“Good Morning”) has always been, in my opinion, the best song on the album, but this video really takes it to another level.  Enjoy:
