F yeah…and no autotune, just straight rapping.  It’s enough to make Kid Cudi dance on tables, so it must be hot.  This is (presumably) the first single off of his upcoming album “Good Ass Job”, and it is called “Power” and features Dwele.  Enjoy the first samplings of what will eventually be the album of the year, bitches:

UPDATE #2 (6/2):

Kanye has released the “mastered & mixed” version of the song on his new blog, so I’ve updated the links to reflect this better/doper version and also added the picture which now adorns the new title page of his blog to the top of this post:

UPDATE (5/28):

Sorry, but I felt compelled to showcase a couple of choice lines from the song after listening to it another 8,000 times. So, firstly, and most impressively (in my mind) Ye’ says:

You short-minded n****s’ thoughts is Napoleon/ My furs is Mongolian, my ice brought the goalies in.”

And right before that previous line, he spits:

Fuck SNL and the whole cast/ Tell ‘em Yeezy said they can kiss my whole ass.”

Now there has been a bit of confusion about this latter line; specifically, people are wondering what exactly is the source of Ye’s beef with SNL. My guess was that the show probably made a bunch of skits shitting on Kanye about that whole Taylor Swift episode – you know, when he rightfully stole her award onstage or whatever?

Rather than listening to my take on the line, however, I’d suggest clicking over to Vulture, where they’ve (already) posted an article entitled Why is Kanye Mad at SNL?, an analysis dedicated to breaking down and unlocking the secret behind the aforementioned lyric. And that, my friends, is why I love that blog.

And then when you’re done doing all that, go listen to the song again.

Just the sickest shit in the world, over an old Big L beat:

“Where in the World is Freddie Gibbs?”

The song is actually called “Flamboyant (Freestyle #2)” and is off of “The Miseducation of Freddie Gibbs;” download a much better quality version here or listen to it below:

And now from today’s episode of trust-Bdon-because-he-wouldn’t-put-a-music-video-on-his-blog-unless-it-was-absolutely-bomb comes the new video from Theophilus London:

Since you were so obsessed with the song upon first viewing of the video, feel free to download it here or listen to it (sans visuals) below:

*Just to clarify, when I wrote “preview” in the title of this post, what I meant to write was “full, retail album in its entirety,” as one of the most anticipated albums of 2009 ended up leaking yesterday, two weeks prior to its release.  Now, I am usually the first one to stand up for artists and protest against the piracy of their music (full disclosure: this is not true in even the slightest), but can such an innocent download really be called “piracy” when the artist himself:

1. Is worth $150 million; and

2. Admitted in an interview yesterday that the album leaking early is actually good publicity for its September 11th release:

“I may be the most bootlegged artist in history,” he said in an interview after learning the news. “It’s a preview. I’m excited for people to hear the album. I’m very proud of the work I’ve down, so enjoy it…My pager is actually ringing right now, so people are probably calling me and telling me they pretty much like it. I can tell by the way my pager rings if a song is good or not. It’s really going crazy right now.”

Well, the answer is “yes,” it still is piracy.  Luckily, however, only the person who hosts the files or the website can get nailed in such a case, and considering I average about 1-2 hits a day (myself and myself later on), Blogbdon has all the necessary safeguards in place to shield you from any potential lawsuits.  So, if you haven’t already, scroll back up there, download the shit out of it and go brag to your friends how cool you are for having the new Jay-Z like 6 hours before they do.  And do yourself a favor and listen to the track with Kid CuDI (“Already Home”); it’s the best song on there.

ALSO, check out the sickest commercial I’ve seen in a long time, starring Hova and a bunch of his most famous album covers in a new Rhapsody spot:

M to the A, playa dolla sign E!!!! His comeback has been all but confirmed, and, sadly, as a result, life just got that much better for me…until he goes back to church after these two songs flop (d/l links below):

Drake – Best I Ever Had (remix feat. Ma$e)

Harry O – Uptown Boy (remix feat. Ron Brownz & Mase)

Also, for good measure, here’s a picture of Mase with a tiger; now see how tough and ghetto he is G-Unit?!!

FYI: I’m Jewish

The new single, “Love Lockdown,” is set to hit iTunes “any minute now,” and rumor has it that this announcement conveniently coinciding with Kanye’s performance to close the VMA’s on Sunday is no accident and that we’ll probably hear it for the first time that night.  Yes, I am gay for Kanye; I don’t care.

UPDATE [9/10]: As so boldly predicted by Blogbdon, Ye’ closed out the VMA’s on Sunday evening with “Love Lockdown,” the first single off of his upcoming album and a song he has since called his “favorite song 2 date.”  More importantly, the aforementioned new Kanye album, entitled “808′s & Heartbreak,” is set to drop on December 16th.  Here is a video of the dope-ass performance (that I can’t get to center on the page for some reason):

Speaking of being gay for Kanye, he released yet another single off of “Graduation” and, thus, another insane video to go alone with it.  This song (“Good Morning”) has always been, in my opinion, the best song on the album, but this video really takes it to another level.  Enjoy:

Summer\'s Eve Douche

I will admit that I, probably not unlike yourself right now, was a bit skeptical when I first encountered a blog claiming to have uncovered the douchiest phone message in history.  But now, having now listened to it myself, I can assure you that this is just that: the absolute douchiest message in the history of this here universe. It is also one of the most quotable, altogether funny things I have seen in a long time.
You can listen to the message below (ignore the lame slideshow that someone made to put it on youtube), immediately after a short synopsis from the site on which I found it:

In all my years of studying douchebaggery, never have i encountered anything like this. It’s such pure and unadulterated douche that I wish I could bottle it and use just a drop of it at a time.

The back story on this is that a girl named Olga was out with her friends in the Marina district of San Francisco (known for being a popular hang out for douches), and she talked to this guy named Dmitri for all of two minutes. Then she gave him her card and said “give me a call.” The above is the messages he left. Listen to the whole thing, it just keeps getting better and better. I won’t even tell you my favorite parts because i don’t want to ruin anything. Just listen.

UPDATE: Well, it didn’t take very long for Dimitri (his name….obviously) to become an internet sensation; he has already been named #1 on Gawker’s 5 Scariest Seducers list and, more importantly, has HIS OWN FREAKING WEBSITE called Dimitri the Lover!

Just a few weeks ago I posted a final-exams-limited offering entitled “Jonah Hill Day.” In it, I posted a video of Yeezy playing Connect 4 with Mr. Hill to which I had taken a particular liking because of a song Kanye plays in the background. At the time I mentioned that:

“the song Kanye puts on in the background is maybe the best song ever, and you’re probably wondering what it is. It’s his own remix of Lil Wayne’s “Lollipop,” and it’s sick as hell. I’ll try to get an illegal link to it soon.”

Well, “soon” apparently meant 25 days because I have obtained said promised illegal link.   The song in the background was Lil’ Wayne’s remix to “Lollipop” featuring Kanye West, and, as predicted, it is the best song ever. So please enjoy your new favorite song (click the play button to listen or just trust me and click the title to download):

EDITOR’S NOTE: You are not hearing things; always the advocate of practicing safe sex, Weezy does, indeed, utter the following insane lines:

“Safe sex is great sex, better wear a latex, cuz you don’t want that late text, like that ‘I think I’m late’ text.”

Just nasty.

Simon’s New Favorite Song

I’ve also decided to introduce a new section this week entitled “Simon’s New Favorite Song,” wherein I project what will be Simon’s favorite song in a few months, after it has already debuted, peaked and subsequently fallen off the Billboard Top 100. This week’s song is only a snippet because, apparently, the online rap stealers have failed to obtain the entire version thus far. But it is otherwise obvious that this will almost definitely eventually be a “Simon Jam.”
